Life can be a struggle! We all go through rough patches, even the most seemingly well-composed of us. Your favorite Instagrammer still wakes up with drool on their pillow and beadhead, your favorite actor doesn't always get the roles they try for. And at the end of the day, everyone makes mistakes.
The only difference between you succeeding and stalling is whether or not you can...
learn from your mistakes.
This week has been a little rough! I will be the first to say that keeping up on everything we as a band have decided to do has not been so easy this week.
Sorry for anyone who missed our Space Corral video Monday! With all the filming that happened over the weekend, we were tuckered Stallions. We really appreciate your understanding. :)
And with that, we will continue to do our best to keep getting you quality Stallion content.👌 But as you may have noticed, even what happened this week was not stellar.
We loved getting the chance to host another amazing IG musician in our home this week for Date Night, but man, did I make some mistakes that night during prep.
Thing is, there is always a learning curve with new tech, and as much as I think that I am perfect (🙄), I really dropped the ball on this.
I forgot to change the recording settings from when I had been filming another project, and not only was the size of the file WAY TOO HUGE to be useful in this context, there also was no sound!
The good thing though is, I learned. I can look at this event and know more about my tech, and more about myself too. I can plan ahead for next week and do better from now on. Plus, all my friends still love me and we were able to put together a Date Night video for you this week regardless.
Jack did an amazing job giving everyone a solid update!
(Thank you Jack!<3)
The moral of all this is:
It's ok to make mistakes!
What matters is what you do about it. Rather than dwelling on it and feeling down (it is always ok to feel your feelings though!), I'm doing my best to gain what I can from these experiences and make something, and myself, better from it. I have too many awesome things to do, and so do you, do get tangled up in self-doubt over something that won't ultimately change anything.
Anyway, thank you so much for coming back another week!
We appreciate you more than you know, without you, we wouldn't have much! From all of us in Fat Stallion-
